Submissions are in!

Thank you to everyone who submitted work to the Story Quilt Project!

Our panel of expert judges (faculty from Composition, Literature, Art, Dance, and Music) are looking forward to checking out the many, varied works of art from PPCC's talented students.

Remember that selected students will present at the Showcase of Talent on Thursday, April 30th. 7-9 pm at the Centennial Campus Theater. History and literature students will provide historical context and tie-in to Sue Monk Kidd's historical novel The Invention of Wings.

This event will be open to the public and promises to be an evening rich with creative expression and history.

Final Workshop Wednesday March 18th

The last workshop for the Story Quilt Showcase will be tonight!

Join us from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Centennial Campus Writing Center, A-312.

Like the last workshop, we will have tutors, instructors, and librarians on hand to off feedback on your ideas or ongoing projects. Also, art supplies and some snackage.

It has been so exciting to meet with students and see the incredible ideas people are working on. Let's keep that momentum tonight at our final workshop!

One Workshop Down...

Thanks to all who attended our first workshop last Saturday at the DTSC! We were excited by the number of participants and frankly blown away by the wealth of ideas you are working on!
There is some great outside-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches to this project already, and we are looking forward to more at the next workshop!

On Tuesday, March 10th, we will host the next workshop in W-119 at the Rampart Range campus.

We will hopefully have more art supplies, and we encourage you to bring works-in-progress. This is an opportunity to get feedback on art and writing from faculty, staff, and peers, as well as see what others are working on and have dedicated space and time for your own work.

Can't wait to see you there!

Questions about the workshops? Visit the workshop page, or email us!
